Donald Trump Explodes At Female Reporter After She Asks An Uncomfortable Question
Donald Trump once again lashed out at a female reporter on Thursday after being asked a question he clearly did not like.
The heated moment happened while Trump was visiting the Lincoln Memorial to inspect renovation work around the Reflecting Pool, one of several projects he has pushed in the nation’s capital.
During the visit, Rachel Scott from ABC News asked Trump why he was focusing on beautification projects while Americans were dealing with rising gas prices and growing international tensions.
Scott asked why attention was being placed on projects like the Reflecting Pool at a time when people were worried about the economy and conflict overseas.
Trump immediately became defensive and responded angrily. He argued that keeping the country beautiful and clean was important and claimed the area around the memorial had been neglected for years. According to him, workers had removed truckloads of garbage and filth from the water near the monument.
He said America should represent beauty, safety, and cleanliness instead of what he described as a dirty and poorly maintained capital city.
When Scott attempted to ask another question, Trump cut her off and insulted her directly. He called her question “stupid” and suggested she understood dirt better than he did. He appeared increasingly irritated as he defended the cleanup project and repeated that restoring landmarks was part of what makes the country great.
Trump then turned to people standing nearby and continued attacking the reporter personally. He called Scott one of the worst reporters and mocked ABC News as “fake news.” He also described her as a “horror show” while continuing to complain about the question she asked.
The president argued that cleaning and restoring places like the Reflecting Pool near the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument was important for the image of the country.
This is not the first time Trump has publicly attacked Scott. Over the years, he has repeatedly clashed with several female journalists during press conferences and interviews, especially when asked difficult or critical questions.
After the exchange, the White House social media account celebrated the moment online, posting a clip of Trump’s comments and praising him for confronting the reporter.
The video quickly spread across social media, with supporters praising Trump for pushing back against the media, while critics accused him of once again disrespecting journalists instead of calmly answering the question.
