MAGA supporter furious after buying $640 Donald Trump watch missing a VERY important feature

A Rhode Island couple who proudly support President Donald Trump were left frustrated and disappointed after spending more than $600 on a Trump-branded luxury watch, only to receive a product that arrived with a major mistake.

Tim Petit said he first became interested in the watch after hearing a radio advertisement that featured Trump’s voice promoting a collection of luxury watches. The ad caught his attention, and after visiting the company’s website, he found a silver watch with a pink face that he believed would make the perfect gift for his wife, Melanie.

Wanting to surprise her with something special, Tim paid $640 for the watch and eagerly waited for it to arrive. However, when the package finally showed up, the couple quickly noticed something was wrong.

Instead of displaying the name “Trump” on the watch face, the letter “T” was missing. The watch simply read “Rump.”

Melanie said she noticed the mistake immediately. She could not believe such an obvious error had made it through production and quality checks. What was supposed to be a meaningful gift quickly became a disappointing experience, and she became emotional after seeing the defect.

Tim said he felt let down because he had hoped the watch would be a memorable present for his wife. He explained that he expected a product connected to the president’s name to meet a high standard of quality and professionalism.

After discovering the mistake, the couple tried contacting the company to have the issue corrected. According to them, their initial attempts to get help went unanswered. They said they received no response and felt ignored despite spending a significant amount of money on the watch.

Tim said all they wanted was for the company to fix the mistake quickly and properly. He also felt that an apology would have been appropriate, especially because the experience had upset his wife.

The situation eventually changed after a local news outlet contacted the watch company about the complaint. Shortly afterward, the company responded to the couple and took steps to resolve the issue.

The watchmaker reportedly offered the couple an $800 gift card and also shipped them a replacement watch. This time, the new watch arrived with Trump’s full surname correctly displayed on the face.

The company behind the watches is not officially part of the Trump administration, although its marketing heavily features Trump’s image and voice. Promotional videos on the website include Trump encouraging supporters to purchase the watches, giving many customers the impression that the products are closely connected to him.

However, the fine print on the website explains that Trump’s likeness is being used under a paid licensing agreement. It also states that the watches are not designed, owned, managed, or controlled by Donald Trump, the Trump Organization, or several related entities.

The company’s refund and exchange policies have also drawn attention because they state that all sales are final, making it difficult for customers to return products once purchased.

While the couple ultimately received a replacement watch and compensation in the form of a gift card, the experience left them questioning how such a noticeable mistake could have passed through production and quality control in the first place.

What was meant to be a proud purchase for a Trump supporter ended up becoming a frustrating ordeal, turning a luxury gift into an embarrassing mistake that required media attention before it was finally resolved.
