A fight reportedly broke out outside a Smyths Toys store after people queued up to buy Pokémon cards.

A video shared online shows several people running, pushing, and fighting in the car park while others watched in shock. The incident is believed to have happened during a busy Pokémon card restock, which attracted a large crowd of collectors and buyers.

People had reportedly been waiting outside the store since early in the morning to get their hands on the popular cards. However, things quickly turned chaotic when an argument broke out between some of those in the queue.

The footage shows a group of people chasing each other across the car park as bystanders looked on. It is not yet clear what started the dispute, and there has been no official information about injuries or arrests.

The video has sparked plenty of reactions online. Many people said they were surprised to see a fight break out over trading cards, while others pointed out that Pokémon cards have become very valuable and highly sought after in recent years.

Some social media users blamed the growing number of resellers who buy cards in bulk to sell them at higher prices, while others said no hobby is worth getting into a physical fight over.
