Bernie Sanders Nails ‘Cruel’ Truth Of ‘What Trumpism Is Really About’ In New Takedown

Senator Bernie Sanders strongly criticized a Republican-backed bill supported by former President Donald Trump, calling it deeply unfair and harmful to ordinary Americans. Speaking on MSNBC, Sanders said the bill gives massive tax cuts to the rich while taking away basic needs like health care from millions of people. He described the plan as “beyond cruel” and “almost unspeakable,” arguing that it reflects the core of what he sees as Trump’s political philosophy.

According to Sanders, Trump and his supporters believe that wealthy people—especially those who donate to political campaigns—deserve extra rewards because they are seen as somehow more important or “superhuman.” Meanwhile, regular working people, especially those in low-wage jobs like fast food or factory work, are treated as if they deserve nothing.

Sanders pointed out that the bill doesn’t just take away health care. It also cuts funding for food assistance, education, and other programs that help people who are struggling to make ends meet. A recent report from the Congressional Budget Office supports this view, showing that the legislation would make life harder for poor and working-class families while benefiting the richest Americans even more.

He summed it up by saying that under Trump’s agenda, the wealthy are rewarded simply for being wealthy, while everyday people—the “working stiffs” who keep the country running—are left behind. Sanders used tech billionaire Elon Musk as an example of someone the system is designed to help even more, while millions of hardworking Americans are overlooked.

In his interview, Sanders made it clear that he believes this approach is not just bad policy, but also morally wrong. He warned that it shows how the government under Trump’s influence could become more about serving the rich and powerful than helping ordinary people live with dignity and security.
