Deport Melania and Barron — Viral Petition Gets Thousands of Signatures Amid Trump’s Immigration Crackdown

An online petition is calling on Donald Trump to deport his own wife, Melania, and their son, Barron, claiming it would help protect national security. The petition has already been signed by thousands of people, who are using it to challenge Trump’s tough stance on immigration. The people behind the petition want him to show that he is serious about his deportation policies by starting with his own family.
This petition became popular after Trump expressed interest in deporting even naturalized U.S. citizens—people who were born in another country but later became American citizens. The petition, titled “Deport Melania, Melania’s parents, and Barron in the first round of deportations!” has already gathered around 3,000 signatures. The organizers believe that if Trump truly believes in his immigration plans, then his own family should not be given special treatment.
The petition also criticizes how Melania got her U.S. visa, questioning whether she deserved the so-called “Einstein Visa,” which is typically reserved for people with extraordinary abilities. Representative Jasmine Crockett has been one of the public figures raising concerns about this, implying that Melania’s qualifications may not have met the standard.
The person who wrote the petition argues that if Trump’s policy is to deport people who were not born in the U.S., then Melania and her parents should be included. They even go as far as calling Barron an “anchor baby,” a controversial term used to describe children born in the U.S. to non-citizen parents. The author claims that since Barron’s mother wasn’t born in the country, he should be asked to leave too under Trump’s own rules.
The petition reads, “If it’s fair for one, it should be fair for all. There should be no special treatment. Put them on the first plane or boat out.” It accuses Trump of being hypocritical and demands he take action to prove he’s not just protecting his own family from rules that affect others. According to the petition, if these deportations are really about protecting national safety, then Trump should show leadership by including his own wife.
Melania Trump moved to the United States from Slovenia in 1996 to work as a model. She was born Melanija Knavs in 1970. She became a U.S. citizen in 2006, after getting a green card in 2001. She married Donald Trump in 2005, and the following year they had their son, Barron.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters has also voiced concerns about Melania’s immigration status, especially about her parents. At a rally in Los Angeles, she said that the public doesn’t know for sure if Melania’s parents had legal immigration status. She suggested that Trump should investigate their background, saying, “Maybe he ought to start by looking at Melania.”
