Donald Trump has brutal response after Iranian official threatened he could be Assassinated ‘while he’s sunbathing in Mar-a-Lago’

Donald Trump often spends time at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, and it seems Iranian official Mohammad-Javad Larijani knew that.
During a recent TV broadcast in Iran, Larijani joked about how Trump could be attacked while lying out in the sun. He said a tiny drone could strike Trump while he was sunbathing, even making a joke about it hitting him in the belly. Though he laughed, Larijani added that Iran wouldn’t actually do something like that, saying, “We fight like men.”
This comment came shortly after Trump had approved military strikes on Iran, hitting several of its important nuclear sites in June. So naturally, Larijani’s words drew attention.
Later, during an interview with Fox News, Trump was asked about the remark. When the interviewer asked when he last went sunbathing, Trump joked that he probably hadn’t done that since he was about seven years old and that he wasn’t really into it. He didn’t seem too worried about the threat. He said it could be a threat, but then quickly downplayed it, saying he didn’t really think it was serious.
Trump also repeated that he wouldn’t hesitate to strike Iran again if necessary. When asked if he’d consider bombing the country in the future if their nuclear activities raised concerns again, he said yes, “without question.”
He went on to say that both Iran and Israel were tired of the conflict and just wanted peace. He claimed both sides were more focused on surviving day to day than thinking about nuclear weapons.
In response to Larijani’s comments, the U.S. Secret Service said they couldn’t talk about specific threats or protection plans. However, they made it clear that keeping the president and others they protect safe is their top priority, and they remain highly alert due to the constant possibility of danger.
