Donald Trump has full-on freak out as he’s triggered over 5-year old report: ‘Demand an apology!’

Donald Trump went on a major online rant after watching a new episode of 60 Minutes, and the whole thing was triggered by something that happened years ago. He saw journalist Lesley Stahl interviewing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and that brought back an old grudge he’s held since the 2020 election. Trump insists that Stahl was wrong back then when she questioned the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop. He said she accused him of spreading Russian disinformation and he’s still angry about it.

In several angry posts on Truth Social, Trump said Stahl “still owes me an apology” because she didn’t believe his claims at the time. He said her reporting was “incorrect and libelous” and demanded what he called a “complete and total APOLOGY,” even though he complained it was already too late to matter. The situation he’s referring to goes back to late 2019, when a laptop believed to belong to Hunter Biden was left at a repair shop in Delaware. The shop owner later turned it over to the FBI, but not before making a copy. That copy eventually ended up in the hands of allies of Trump, including Rudy Giuliani’s team, and its contents became a huge political controversy.

The data on the laptop reportedly included emails and other information about Hunter Biden’s business work, especially involving a Ukrainian energy company. Trump and his supporters used it to accuse the Bidens of wrongdoing, while many major news outlets approached the story very carefully because they were unsure whether the laptop data was real or manipulated. That skepticism — especially on a high-profile show like 60 Minutes — clearly still frustrates Trump deeply.

He didn’t just take aim at Stahl. He went after the network’s parent company, Paramount, too. He accused the show of getting worse even after the company changed ownership. Ironically, he lashed out at executives who are believed to be friendlier to him politically, suggesting they still shouldn’t have aired the episode. Trump complained that both the old and new owners profited from coverage he claims was “fake” and unfair to him. He even said the show was run by people who are “no better than the old ownership,” despite the fact that they recently paid him for the rights to air past content.

The entire outburst shows that Trump continues to carry a long list of grievances against the media. Old stories and past arguments still spark angry reactions from him, and he uses his platform to remind his supporters that he believes the press treated him unfairly. Even though the dispute is years old, he is still pushing for someone to admit he was right — and still demanding an apology he doesn’t expect to receive.
