Donald Trump Hints at Arresting Mayorkas — Says “Following Orders” Won’t Save Him From Justice! (VIDEO)

President Trump said on Tuesday that he’s seriously considering investigating and possibly prosecuting former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for what he called a failure to do his job. Trump accused Mayorkas of allowing the largest wave of illegal immigration the country has ever seen.

He pointed out that Mayorkas was not one of the people President Biden gave pardons to before leaving office. Trump also criticized Biden and the officials who used an autopen (a machine to sign documents) to issue pardons to people involved in the January 6th investigation. Trump referred to those individuals as “conspirators” and said they should have been arrested, not pardoned.

When a reporter asked why Mayorkas hasn’t been arrested yet—especially since the current administration is supposedly fixing the damage caused over the last four years—Trump responded that he would look into it. He said that what Mayorkas did was more than just being bad at his job. Trump believes Mayorkas was following someone else’s orders, but that doesn’t mean he’s off the hook. He emphasized that following orders isn’t a free pass, and accountability might still come.

The reporter pressed further, asking why no one has been held responsible yet. Trump replied by slamming the pardons again, especially those given to members of what he called the “unselect committee,” who he accused of deleting key evidence from two years of hearings. He insisted they should be in jail, not pardoned.

When asked again if Mayorkas was pardoned, Trump said, “If he wasn’t pardoned, we should definitely take a closer look at him.” He then turned to Kristi Noem, the Homeland Security Secretary, suggesting she also review the situation. Trump reminded everyone that although Mayorkas was impeached, he called it a “fake impeachment” and suggested real consequences might still be on the table.

He repeated that Biden was “the worst president in U.S. history” and insisted that even though Mayorkas was just carrying out orders, that doesn’t excuse what happened under his watch.

These remarks came during a roundtable discussion in Florida with Kristi Noem and several state officials. After the event, Trump toured a new detention facility in Florida nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz.” This prison, located in the Everglades, will house illegal immigrants with criminal records while they wait to be deported.

Trump told reporters that the prison is surrounded by natural barriers—like swamps, alligators, and snakes—which make it extremely hard for anyone to escape. Joking about the danger, Trump waved his hands in a zig-zag pattern and said, “Don’t run in a straight line. Run like this. Your chances go up by 1%. Not a good thing.”
