Donald Trump official sends shock waves across MAGA world

A recent government memo has stirred up strong emotions among supporters of former President Donald Trump. On Friday, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who previously served as Trump’s criminal defense lawyer, publicly supported a new Justice Department and FBI report about Jeffrey Epstein  the controversial financier who died in jail in 2019.

The memo says that Epstein didn’t have a hidden list of powerful clients, didn’t blackmail anyone, and wasn’t murdered in jail. The agencies claim there’s no secret conspiracy — just facts backed by their investigation. But many Trump supporters aren’t buying it.

This has caused an uproar within Trump’s base. Throughout Trump’s second term, Attorney General Pam Bondi had promised to release all files related to Epstein. Earlier this year, she even said on Fox News that a so-called “client list” was on her desk waiting for review.

Trump himself said during his 2024 campaign that he’d be fine with making everything public. FBI leaders Kash Patel and Dan Bongino had also previously hinted at big revelations. So when this memo came out saying there was no hidden scandal, people felt let down.

Blanche responded to the backlash by posting on social media that he helped write the memo alongside Patel and Bongino. He stressed that everyone involved agreed on its findings and said rumors of disagreement among officials were simply untrue. But his post didn’t help much.

People online quickly criticized the memo for not having any signatures. Influential MAGA supporters called it suspicious and questioned how it was leaked to the press before anyone in the administration addressed it. Some accused the Justice Department and FBI of hiding the truth.

One well-known right-wing voice, Laura Loomer, even blamed Pam Bondi for damaging Trump’s image by not being transparent and making contradictory public statements. She said Bondi was hurting the administration and demanded that she be held accountable.

Loomer also claimed, without providing sources, that Patel and Bongino were furious with Bondi and upset about how the situation was handled. She suggested they might even want her to resign.

Online criticism continued to grow. One user said the whole situation was a disaster from the beginning, while another warned that it could hurt Republicans in the upcoming elections. Others simply demanded the full Epstein files be released immediately, saying they no longer trusted the people in charge.

Meanwhile, Axios reported that Bongino took the day off after reportedly arguing with Bondi at the White House. According to CNN sources, he has told people he’s thinking about quitting because of the mess.

Overall, the controversy has caused a lot of drama among Trump allies, raising doubts about how the administration is handling the long-awaited Epstein documents. Many in Trump’s base feel betrayed, and the administration is now trying to calm the storm — but it might be too late for some supporters.
