Donald Trump Reveals Melania’s 3-Word Reaction After FBI Raided Her ‘Private’ Closets and Drawers

Donald Trump often talks about his past experiences, both good and bad. One event he keeps returning to is the 2022 FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. It’s something that still clearly bothers him deeply.
He has long described the raid as an “unlawful witch hunt” by the Biden administration and connects it to the 2020 presidential election, which he continues to insist was unfairly decided. During a recent press conference, reported by The Irish Star, Trump brought up the raid again—this time focusing on how his wife, Melania Trump, reacted when it happened.
According to Trump, Melania was shocked when the FBI entered their Florida estate. “Wow, what happened?” he said she asked in disbelief. Trump went on to say, “They raided, illegally, my house in Florida—Mar-a-Lago. They went through my young son’s drawers. They went through all of Melania’s drawers and cabinets.” He added that Melania, who is known for being very tidy and particular about her personal space, was extremely upset to find her rooms and belongings left in disarray.
Reports from people close to Melania also confirmed that she was very unhappy after the raid. They said she felt violated by the fact that FBI agents searched her private bedroom and even went through her underwear drawer. To her, it was not just invasive but deeply disrespectful.
Trump, meanwhile, has continued to express outrage over what happened. He has called the raid “the worst weaponization of a political opponent in the history of the world.” The FBI conducted the search as part of an investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents after leaving office. Several lawsuits were already pending against him at the time.
Some of the documents seized during the raid were eventually returned, and Trump claimed that those papers would “someday be part of the Trump Presidential Library.” He insisted that he had done nothing wrong and saw the entire operation as politically motivated.
When Trump returned to office, his anger over the raid appeared to influence some of his actions. He reportedly removed several senior officials linked to the investigation and replaced them with people he trusted completely. At the same time, he began deploying National Guard troops to Democrat-led cities, saying he wanted to restore law and order.
In his recent press conference, Trump emphasized that sending troops to these cities had become one of his main priorities. He said he was responding to what he described as “rising crime and chaos” in those areas. However, data from independent sources suggests that his claims about crime rates in Democrat-run cities are exaggerated. Still, that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing what he believes to be necessary action.
Aside from domestic issues, Trump has also been focusing on foreign affairs. He recently announced progress on what he called the first phase of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas. He described it as a “historic peace agreement” and said his administration had succeeded in bringing a sense of calm to the Middle East. Trump claimed that world leaders had praised him for his role in facilitating the deal, seeing it as another major achievement during his presidency.
Even though years have passed since the FBI raid, it remains one of the defining moments that Trump often refers to when speaking about political persecution and unfair treatment. To him, it’s not just about what happened at Mar-a-Lago—it’s a symbol of how he believes he has been targeted for standing his ground. And each time he talks about it, he reminds his audience that, in his view, the fight is far from over.
