Donald Trump Revisits 1 Of His Weirdest Gripes About President Obama

President Donald Trump recently brought up an old criticism about former President Barack Obama during a rally, even as he faces major political issues at home and abroad.

While speaking to supporters at a packaging plant in Hebron, Kentucky, Trump unexpectedly started talking about the way Obama used to walk down stairs when he was president. Trump told the crowd that there was almost nothing he admired about Obama. However, he said the only thing he ever noticed was the way Obama would bounce or move quickly while walking down steps.

Trump said he thought Obama’s way of walking down the stairs looked strange and not very presidential. He told the audience that he was surprised Obama never slipped or fell while doing it. According to Trump, the steps can sometimes be slippery, and he said he often expected Obama to eventually lose his balance.

He also used the moment to criticize another former president, Joe Biden. Trump claimed Biden had the opposite problem and said Biden struggled with stairs, adding that Biden had fallen several times while climbing them.

This is not the first time Trump has talked about Obama’s way of walking. Earlier this year, during an appearance on a podcast hosted by former FBI official Dan Bongino, Trump made a similar comment. In that conversation, he said Obama’s quick and bouncy steps did not look elegant and did not match the image he expected from a president.

Trump explained that whenever he watched Obama walk down stairs, he kept thinking an accident might happen. He said he was surprised that Obama never had a noticeable fall while doing it.

During his rally speech, Trump also used the moment to praise his own careful way of walking. He said he moves slowly and carefully when going up or down steps because he wants to avoid falling. Speaking previously to military leaders, he had also said that there is no need to rush on stairs and that it is better to walk carefully and safely rather than trying to move quickly.

Trump’s remarks about Obama’s walking style have drawn attention because they come at a time when the president is dealing with much more serious issues, including criticism from some of his own supporters over the ongoing conflict with Iran and concerns about upcoming elections.

Many observers found it unusual that Trump chose to focus on something as small as the way a former president walked down stairs while speaking at a major political rally. Still, moments like this have often been part of Trump’s speaking style, where he mixes political arguments with personal observations and criticisms about other leaders.
