Eric Trump went on television and let out a long, emotional rant about what he believes has been happening to him and his father for years.
He described it as though powerful people had been relentlessly chasing them, saying it felt like he was being hunted down “like a dog.” He spoke with anger in his voice, building up his frustration as he listed all the ways he thinks his family has been unfairly treated.
He argued that his father, former President Donald Trump, had been wrongly attacked again and again. He reminded viewers that his father was impeached not just once, but twice, and insisted those efforts were not based on real wrongdoing.
He brought up the Russia investigation, calling it a “hoax,” and said it was another example of people trying to damage his father’s reputation with false accusations. On top of that, Eric said his dad was removed from major social media platforms, which he saw as another way of trying to silence him.
Eric claimed that prosecutors all across the country have been used as weapons against Donald Trump. According to him, attorney generals and district attorneys have been pressured or motivated to go after his father simply because of politics. He described this as a coordinated effort to bring his dad down, painting his family as constant victims of an endless campaign to destroy them.
His anger grew as he made even bigger claims, saying that the attacks were not only aimed at his father’s political career but also at their personal lives.
He accused unnamed people of attempting to break up his father’s marriage to Melania Trump, suggesting that there were efforts to sow division within the family itself. He said they tried to “separate our family,” making it sound like there was a direct attempt to cause chaos in their private lives, not just their public ones.
Eric also pointed to the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago, framing it as a deliberate raid designed to embarrass and intimidate his father. He said Donald Trump was “gagged over and over,” referring to legal orders that limited what his father could say publicly, and he treated this as further proof that opponents were trying to silence him.
While Eric was forceful and emotional in his delivery, he did not provide concrete evidence to back up the most dramatic claims, particularly the idea that there was an organized attempt to break up the marriage between Donald and Melania or to separate their family. Still, his words were meant to show that he and his father believe they are being persecuted, not just politically, but personally, by people who want to see them destroyed.
