Even RFK Jr. Is Shocked About Donald Trump’s Drastic Diet Change—POTUS Swapping His Diet Coke Button for Something Healthier?

Donald Trump, known for his love of Diet Coke and fast food, is reportedly making efforts to improve his health, and the news has left Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stunned. Trump, who famously has a Diet Coke button in the Oval Office, recently claimed to have lost 30 pounds, sparking speculation about his weight loss methods.
While rumors suggested he might be using weight-loss drugs like Ozempic or Wegovy, Trump clarified in an interview with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade that he achieved the results “the hard way” during his election campaign.
“I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to eat very much. I’m not able to sit down and eat like a person like you—you can sit down and eat. Me, it’s a little bit tougher,” Trump said.
The revelation of Trump’s healthier habits surprised RFK Jr. during a conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity. Hannity shared, “You do work for a boss, he is getting healthier. He looks great and he told me that if he has a burger now he doesn’t have it with a bun.” RFK Jr. responded, “I didn’t know he was changing his diet,” prompting Hannity to backtrack, saying, “I hope I’m not revealing something I shouldn’t.”
Trump’s shift toward healthier choices marks a notable change for someone who has long been associated with fast food and sugary drinks. Recently, he was spotted with a glass of tomato juice instead of his usual Diet Coke, a moment that went viral on social media.
Despite his own struggles with weight, Trump has a history of body-shaming others, including former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, whom he often mocked with jokes about buffets. Trump himself has been labeled the “heaviest President in 100 years.” In 2020, a White House physician reported his weight as 244 pounds at 6 feet 3 inches tall, classifying him as obese. However, in 2023, Trump claimed to weigh 215 pounds during his arrest in Atlanta, though his appearance remained largely unchanged.
Trump’s love for fast food, particularly McDonald’s, has been well-documented. During his hush money trial, he reportedly binged on McDonald’s daily. Still, he is not the only U.S. President to face weight-related challenges. William Howard Taft, the 27th President, weighed between 335 and 340 pounds and famously got stuck in a bathtub, making him a contender for the title of the heaviest President.
In recent years, Trump has surpassed other Presidents like Bill Clinton and Lyndon Johnson in weight comparisons. While his efforts to adopt a healthier lifestyle are a departure from his past habits, they highlight a shift in focus toward personal health.
