A well-known reporter and author, Michael Wolff, has said that the FBI might have photographs showing Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein and young girls, whose ages are not clearly known.
Wolff claims that during visits to Epstein’s New York home, he saw Epstein take the pictures out of a safe. He believes those photos were still in the safe when the FBI raided Epstein’s house after his 2019 arrest and likely took everything inside, including the photos.
Wolff made these statements during a podcast conversation with former Clinton adviser Sidney Blumenthal and Princeton historian Sean Wilentz. He explained that he had spoken with Epstein regularly from around 2014 through Trump’s 2016 campaign and into his first year as president.
At one point, after Trump had already been elected, Epstein pulled out some Polaroid photos and spread them out like playing cards. Wolff says there were around a dozen pictures showing Trump with young girls at Epstein’s Palm Beach house the same house where many of Epstein’s alleged crimes took place. Wolff remembers three of those pictures clearly. In two of them, topless girls were sitting on Trump’s lap, and in another, Trump had a visible stain on his pants while the girls around him laughed and pointed at it.
Wolff believes the photos were taken sometime between 1999 and 2001 and suspects Epstein may have shown them to other people. A British magazine, the Spectator, has also reportedly mentioned these kinds of photos before.
Wolff said Epstein used to brag about knowing many powerful people around the world. He claimed to have connections with figures like Fidel Castro, Pope Francis, Saudi crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and even former US President Bill Clinton. Wolff also recalled Epstein once saying he was going to meet Vladimir Putin and describing in detail the flight route he’d be taking—possibly on Putin’s private plane.
Trump’s ties to Epstein have been under public scrutiny for many years, and theories about secret files and photos have only grown since Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while in custody. Despite ongoing speculation, FBI officials appointed during Trump’s presidency, like Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, have denied that any secret Epstein files exist or are being hidden. Patel even told podcaster Joe Rogan that he and Bongino would never help cover up Epstein’s crimes and blamed years of conspiracy theories for the confusion.
However, if the FBI does have these photographs, as Wolff suggests, it would challenge the claims made by Patel and others. When asked, the FBI refused to comment.
This topic became even more explosive recently when Elon Musk—billionaire, Republican donor, and once an ally of Trump—suddenly turned against him online. Musk posted that Trump’s name was in the Epstein files and claimed that was the real reason those files had never been made public. Trump responded to the claim by saying it was “old news” and that Epstein’s own lawyer had confirmed Trump had no involvement. Trump also added that he hadn’t been close to Epstein for nearly two decades before his death. Musk later deleted the posts.
Wolff also said that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak was close to Epstein and often asked him about Trump. According to Wolff, Epstein was known for being indiscreet, full of gossip, and highly entertaining, which made him attractive to many powerful people who liked hearing his secrets.
So far, none of the photos Wolff described have been released publicly, and there is no official confirmation that the FBI has them. But the discussion keeps raising new questions about Trump’s history with Epstein and what evidence, if any, might still be hidden.
