Four 5th-grade girls devised sinister plot to kill Arizona boy and fake his suicide, cops say: ‘Just end him’

Four girls in the fifth grade, all around 10 or 11 years old, from a school in Arizona, came up with a shocking and disturbing plan to kill a boy in their class. According to the police, they wanted it to look like the boy had taken his own life. What makes this even more unsettling is that one of the girls was caught laughing and smiling while being questioned by the authorities.
This plan was discovered after a report was released by the Surprise Police Department. It explained how these young girls from Legacy Traditional School in West Surprise, Arizona, decided they would attack the boy during recess back in October 2024. They were angry at him over rumors that he had cheated in a relationship with one of the girls, and they agreed they would “just end him.”
Each of the girls had a specific job in the plan. One was supposed to bring a knife. Another would write a fake suicide note to make it look like the boy had killed himself. A third girl was going to keep watch, while the fourth girl was chosen to actually stab him. That girl was even told to wear gloves so there would be no fingerprints left on the weapon.
Their plan was set to happen on October 1st, but thankfully, other students overheard what they were planning and told school staff before anything happened. Because of this, the police were able to step in, and the girls were arrested before they could go through with it.
They were all charged with making threats and disorderly conduct. When questioned, three of the girls showed they were sorry and understood the seriousness of what they did. But the fourth girl acted disturbingly — she smiled and laughed while trying to explain herself, as if it was all a joke.
The girls were released to their parents after their arrest. They were also suspended from school, and it’s likely they will be expelled. The police have said they won’t be sharing more information about the case, and the school hasn’t responded to questions about it.
This situation is being compared to a well-known case from 2014, where two 12-year-old girls in Wisconsin tried to kill their friend to impress a made-up horror character called Slender Man. That case shocked people across the country just like this one is doing now.
