Hunter Biden issues brutal 7-word response to Melania Trump’s $1 billion lawsuit over Epstein claims

Hunter Biden has responded bluntly to Melania Trump after she threatened to sue him for \$1 billion over comments he made about her and Jeffrey Epstein.
The tension began when Biden, during an interview with filmmaker Andrew Callaghan, claimed that Epstein the wealthy financier later convicted of sex crimes involving minors was the person who introduced Melania to Donald Trump. He also hinted that secret Epstein-related files could implicate Trump.
Melania’s legal team reacted almost immediately. They sent Biden a formal letter demanding he take back his words, saying his claims were “false, disparaging, defamatory, and inflammatory.” They insisted he apologize publicly or face a lawsuit seeking at least \$1 billion in damages.
The letter pointed out that Biden’s statement seemed to be based partly on an old claim by journalist Michael Wolff. Wolff had once told The Daily Beast that Melania met Trump through someone connected to both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate.
That article was eventually deleted after Melania’s attorneys challenged it. The Daily Beast issued a correction saying they had taken it down and apologized for any “confusion or misunderstanding.”
Melania has always denied any connection between her meeting Donald and Jeffrey Epstein. She says they first met in 1998 at a party hosted by a modeling agency. There’s no verified evidence linking Epstein to their introduction, but the allegation has become a part of the wider swirl of conspiracy theories that have followed Epstein’s case.
When Callaghan asked Biden in a Channel 5 interview if he planned to apologize to Melania for what he said, Biden’s response was short and sharp: “F\*\*k that, that’s not going to happen.” His tone made it clear he has no intention of retracting his comments, no matter what legal threats are made.
Epstein’s story still looms large in U.S. politics and media. He was arrested in July 2019 on federal sex-trafficking charges involving minors and pleaded not guilty. Just a month later, in August 2019, he was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in what was officially ruled a suicide. His death sparked countless conspiracy theories because of his connections to high-profile figures in politics, business, and entertainment.
The Justice Department has confirmed it holds more than 200 documents related to Epstein, and reports say the FBI has thousands more. Many of these documents have never been released publicly, adding to speculation about who might be named in them and what evidence they contain.
For now, Biden’s defiant response has set the stage for a possible high-stakes courtroom fight. If Melania’s legal team follows through on the lawsuit, the case could put both her and Biden’s claims under intense public scrutiny, with the Epstein controversy once again becoming front-page news.
