Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett from Texas has been very outspoken about former President Donald Trump, using strong and colorful language to describe him. Recently, she called him an “old white nepo baby,” adding this to the list of other harsh things she’s said about him in the past.
During an interview on MSNBC’s “The Weekend: Primetime,” she criticized what she called his “rogue administration,” accusing it of trying to ignore a court order that stopped the deployment of federal troops to Portland, Oregon. The court had ruled that the small-scale protests there did not justify such a heavy-handed government response.
Crockett also spoke about how the president and his supporters continue to spread fear and anger toward immigrants. She said that immigrants actually help build and strengthen the country and warned people not to believe the racist lies being spread to divide Americans.
She told viewers that many people are being misled into thinking immigrants, transgender people, Black people, or women are the cause of their problems. She argued that the real issue is the people in power who are making life harder for working families. She pointed out that if people are struggling to pay bills, feed their families, keep their jobs, or run their businesses, the cause isn’t other everyday Americans—it’s the person in charge of government policies.
Crockett highlighted that many farmers are facing bankruptcy and financial ruin, and she said those hardships are not the fault of immigrants or minorities. Instead, she blamed Trump, referring to him again as “the old white nepo baby in the White House,” saying he’s responsible for much of the pain and problems people are dealing with.
Her latest remarks follow a series of other strong criticisms of Trump. In the past, she has called him things like a “wannabe Hitler,” a “white supremacist,” and mocked him in public without even saying his name. Her newest insult, “Old White Nepo Baby,” has caught people’s attention—and some even think the acronym “OWNB” might stick.
