Jimmy Kimmel Mocks Bruises on Trump’s Hands With Parody Interview of His “Rotting Diseased Flesh (Video)

Jimmy Kimmel is once again taking aim at Donald Trump. On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host mocked the president by doing a fake interview with Trump’s “badly bruised” right hand.

The joke plays off moments from last year, when Trump appeared in public several times with visible bruises on his hand. At the time, the White House said the marks came from shaking hands so often and from Trump taking aspirin.

To mark the first anniversary of Trump’s second term, Kimmel opened the skit with the hand speaking directly to viewers. It introduced itself in a gross, exaggerated way, clearly meant to shock and get laughs. When Kimmel pointed out the dark bruise, the hand casually said it would cover it up with makeup.

Another hand then appeared and rubbed orange-colored bronzer over the bruise. Kimmel joked that it looked like “powdering a donut,” poking fun at Trump’s well-known habit of wearing makeup that often doesn’t match his skin tone.

The sketch didn’t stop at jokes about Trump’s hand. It also took shots at his overall health. When Kimmel asked if the president could hear them, the hand said Trump was in a very serious meeting that needed “deep concentration.” Kimmel quickly replied that this sounded like Trump was asleep. The hand agreed, saying he was sleeping “like a baby hippo.”

Later, the bruised hand was shown signing a fake executive order banning “handsgender” in schools, a clear joke aimed at Trump’s repeated anti-trans policies.

The skit became even more outrageous when a parody version of Secretary of State Marco Rubio appeared and forced a hot dog into the hand’s “mouth.” The hand then made a crude joke about eating dogs, which was meant to mock Trump’s past comments about Haitian migrants.

That moment referred to Trump’s remarks during the 2024 presidential debates, when he claimed that thousands of Haitian migrants had “destroyed” Springfield, Ohio, and promised mass deportations.

Outside the jokes, the White House has continued to explain that Trump’s bruises come from constant handshaking and from aspirin use. Trump is also reported to have chronic venous insufficiency, a condition that can cause bruising and swelling, especially in the legs and ankles.

Trump previously said he had undergone an MRI, but later clarified that it was actually a scan. His doctor, Dr. Sean Barbabell, said the test was done to rule out any heart-related problems.

The segment followed other recent late-night attacks, including commentary from Seth Meyers, as comedians continue to use humor to question Trump’s health, behavior, and public statements.
