Joe Biden Casually Drops Bombshell About Who’s Still Seeking His Advice

Former President Joe Biden has been speaking openly about how he’s still very much involved in the political world, even though he’s no longer in office. He said that many people, both in the United States and abroad, continue to reach out to him.

These are not just fellow Democrats, but also Republicans and leaders from around the world.

According to Biden, they’re not necessarily asking him to jump back into politics publicly, but they are looking for his thoughts, his perspective, and his experience, especially now that Donald Trump is back in the White House and leading what Biden seems to see as a deeply divided and turbulent administration.

Biden says he’s staying involved behind the scenes because he truly cares about the direction the country is heading. He told a group in San Diego that even after leaving the presidency, he couldn’t just step away and stop caring. He explained that he worked incredibly hard during his time in office on things he believed made a real difference for the country  policies around healthcare, climate, the economy, democracy  and he now sees many of those efforts being rolled back or undone. That’s hard for him to watch, and it’s part of why he continues to stay engaged in conversations, even if it’s no longer in the public eye.

He shared that world leaders particularly from Europe  have been calling him directly, asking him to remain active and give guidance. He was careful not to share names or details, but he made it clear that these are serious conversations.

Biden said he’s not stepping fully back into a leadership role, but he is offering advice when asked. He believes the world needs strong leadership, and that when the U.S. doesn’t step up, it leaves a dangerous gap. In his view, American leadership is about more than military or economic power  it’s about having the ability to bring people and countries together. He emphasized that mistakes made today can have global consequences, far more serious and immediate than in the past.

He also spoke emotionally about what it feels like to walk away from public life after holding the most powerful office in the world. He said it’s not easy. People might not see him in the news every day, but that doesn’t mean he’s not involved. Behind the scenes, he’s still meeting with former colleagues, both Democrats and Republicans.

Many of them, he said, are coming to him not because they expect him to have all the answers, but because they trust him enough to share their concerns and ideas and want someone thoughtful to talk things through with. He stressed that he’s not chasing these meetings  he’s not trying to insert himself back into the spotlight  but when people ask to see him, he listens and makes time for them.

Biden also opened up about his personal health and a major new project he’s working on. Back in May, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, a serious health issue that would cause many people to slow down. But despite this challenge, Biden said he’s “working like hell” on writing a new book. It’s a 500-page memoir that will focus entirely on his four years as president.

He wants to tell the full story — what happened during his administration, what those events meant, and how they impacted the country and the world. It’s not just a political book, but a deeper look at a time in history that he believes was pivotal.

Through all of this, Biden comes across as someone who still feels a deep sense of responsibility. Even though he’s not holding office anymore, he clearly feels the weight of what’s happening in the country and around the world.

He’s not seeking attention or trying to stage a comeback, but he’s not disappearing either. Instead, he’s offering quiet support, sharing his knowledge, and continuing to try to make a difference in whatever way he can.
