Kamala Harris Calls Trump Team ‘Crazy’ in Cuss-Filled Rant – White House Mocks Her Laugh in Response

Former Vice President Kamala Harris is currently traveling across the country to promote her new book, 107 Days. But during a recent appearance in Los Angeles, it wasn’t the book that got people talking — it was her sharp comment about the Trump administration.
Speaking at the “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit on Monday, Harris addressed what she called the chaos of the current political climate. “There is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they’ve lost their minds,” she said. “When in fact, these [expletive] are crazy.”
Her blunt choice of words drew laughter and cheers from the largely left-leaning crowd, but the reaction from Washington was very different. The White House didn’t appreciate the remark, and spokesperson Kush Desai fired back during an interview with TMZ. “Kamala Harris should listen to an audio recording of her cackle of a laugh before calling anyone crazy,” Desai said, taking a jab at one of Harris’s most criticized quirks — her distinctive laugh.
Harris’s laughter has been the subject of countless jokes, memes, and debates since her early political days. During her campaigns, some commentators questioned whether her frequent bursts of laughter reflected nervousness, overconfidence, or simply her natural personality.
However, her husband, Doug Emhoff, has always defended it. He once told The New York Post how her laugh was one of the first things that made him fall in love with her. “She called me back and we talked for an hour. We laughed — you know that laugh! I love that laugh,” he said.
Despite the criticism, Harris hasn’t toned herself down. She continues to be outspoken, especially when it comes to taking on Republicans. During another stop on her book tour in San Francisco on Sunday, she accused GOP leaders of trying to mislead Americans. “Part of this moment requires us to debunk some of the stuff they’re trying to sell the American people,” she said. “They scapegoat instead of owning up to the responsibility that the powerful have — to care, to have even basic curiosity about the well-being of others.”
Her remarks come at a tense time for the Democratic Party. The last election cycle was a tough one, especially after Joe Biden withdrew from the race, leaving the party divided and scrambling for direction. In 107 Days, Harris writes candidly about her own failed presidential run and reflects on her sometimes strained relationships with other Democrats.
But not everyone in her party is happy about the book. Several Democrats have privately complained that Harris’s portrayal of events — and of certain colleagues — feels unfair or self-serving. Some believe her book reopens old wounds instead of helping the party move forward.
Still, Harris appears undeterred. She’s pressing on with her book tour, continuing to defend her views and challenge her critics head-on. Whether she’s laughing off attacks or making bold statements about her political opponents, one thing is clear — Kamala Harris is not interested in playing it safe.
