Lawrence O’Donnell Nails Exact Moment A Massive Donald Trump Fantasy Collapsed

MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell had some very strong words for Donald Trump. He called Trump not just slow to understand things, but also the most foolish and dangerous president the country has ever had.

O’Donnell said Trump is finally starting to realize that one of the biggest promises he made during his campaigns deported millions of undocumented immigrants is not something he can actually do. It was never possible, and trying to do it could seriously damage the U.S. economy.

Trump made a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, where he admitted that farmers and people who run hotels and other hospitality businesses are struggling. He said they’re telling him that because of his strict immigration policies, they’re losing workers who have been with them for years.

These are jobs that are very hard to fill, and now some of the people applying are, according to him, criminals who got into the country through what he calls President Biden’s “very stupid open borders policy.” Trump said this situation isn’t good and promised that changes are coming. He said he wants to help farmers but also wants to remove the so-called criminals.

Lawrence O’Donnell jumped on this message and pointed out how much of a turnaround it is. He said that Trump, who once promised to crack down on all undocumented immigrants, now seems to understand that immigrants play a big role in keeping certain parts of the U.S.

economy running—especially in farming, restaurants, hotels, and construction. According to O’Donnell, Trump has basically given up on his tough talk about deporting millions, because he’s realizing it would hurt American businesses too much. O’Donnell said this is a major surrender and shows that Democrats, who have been saying this all along, were right.

But O’Donnell didn’t stop there. He also said that even though Trump is starting to understand this reality, his new message doesn’t mean people will suddenly feel safe.

Immigrants and their families who are afraid of being deported probably won’t feel any better just because Trump posted this. O’Donnell believes that Trump’s actions and words over the years have done a lot of damage, and one post won’t undo that fear. In the end, O’Donnell sees this as Trump quietly backing away from one of his biggest promises because it’s finally sinking in that it won’t work—and never could.
