‘Let’s Make This Happen!’: Jimmy Kimmel Taunts Trump With A Live TV Challenge

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has thrown down a challenge to President Donald Trump — one that the president is almost guaranteed to turn down.

During his Monday night monologue, Kimmel reacted to Trump’s recent comments where the president once again bragged about passing a simple cognitive test and then mocked two Democratic lawmakers, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas, calling them “low IQ.”

Kimmel, never one to miss a comedic opportunity, suggested turning Trump’s boast into a televised event. “Let’s do it on TV,” Kimmel said with a grin. “Let’s put together the biggest and greatest IQ test of all time.”

The comedian went on to say that he would personally host and produce the special, which would feature Trump, Ocasio-Cortez, and Crockett all taking the same IQ test live in front of a national audience.

Kimmel even had a name ready for the show: “Grandpa Don’s Dementia Bowl.” With his trademark sarcasm, he joked that the competition could be held right before a UFC fight at the White House lawn, turning it into the ultimate political spectacle.

Taking the bit even further, Kimmel quipped that the event could raise money for a good cause. “All proceeds go to fund the government,” he joked, referring to the ongoing budget disputes in Washington. “We seriously need to do this.”

The idea drew laughter from his studio audience and quickly went viral online, with clips from his monologue being shared widely across social media. Many viewers praised Kimmel’s comedic jab, saying it perfectly captured Trump’s obsession with proving his intelligence.

While the challenge was clearly made in jest, it reflects the ongoing feud between Trump and late-night hosts who often use their platforms to criticize his behavior. Given Trump’s history of reacting strongly to media satire, Kimmel’s “IQ showdown” suggestion is unlikely to go unanswered for long — though most expect the former president will, as Kimmel predicted, refuse to take part.
