Raging  Donald Trump blasts ‘scum’ FBI agents as ‘no better than insurrectionists’

President Donald Trump lashed out angrily at FBI agents in a fiery message on social media, calling some of them “scum” and comparing them to insurrectionists.

He also issued a blunt warning to FBI Director Kash Patel, saying those agents should be fired if they disagree with his presidency.

In a post shared on Truth Social on Monday, Trump reacted to an article published by the right-wing outlet Just the News. The article claimed that former FBI Special Agent Timothy Thibault had pushed for Trump himself to be included in an investigation related to efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Even though Thibault left the FBI back in 2022, Trump used the story to attack the agency more broadly.

Trump wrote that the FBI agents involved were “total scum” and said they were no better than what he described as insurrectionists in cities such as Portland, Minnesota, and Los Angeles. His comments suggested that he sees these agents as political enemies rather than neutral law enforcement officials.

He then turned his attention directly to FBI Director Kash Patel, demanding immediate action. Trump said Patel “better get them out, NOW,” referring to agents he believes oppose him or are politically biased.

He went on to accuse them of being “radical left lunatics” who were put in place by former President Barack Obama, even referencing the use of an “auto pen,” a phrase he often uses to suggest decisions were made without proper authority.

The post reflects Trump’s continued hostility toward parts of the FBI and his long-standing belief that federal law enforcement agencies have been used against him for political reasons.
