Rep. Jasmine Crockett laughs off troubling accusations she’s a no-show ‘diva’ boss, quotes Beyoncé  in bizarre response

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, brushed off accusations of mistreating her staff by laughing and quoting Beyoncé during an interview, after declining to comment for The New York Post’s earlier report.

Former aides told The Post that Crockett is difficult to work with, rarely shows up at her office, and treats her staff poorly when she does. They claimed she focuses more on building her image as an influencer than doing her congressional work, often yells at staff over trivial matters, and insists on being driven in luxury vehicles — specifically Escalades — as if her aides were personal chauffeurs.

When asked about the allegations during a CBS News interview, Crockett laughed, saying, “I know that I have arrived, honey,” and quoted Beyoncé: “If they’re not talking about you, then obviously you must not be doing anything.” She called the accusations “slander, nonsense, and lies,” and dismissed the idea that The Post could accurately judge her as a “boss from hell.”

Crockett highlighted her public service record, though she overstated her experience, claiming “five and a half years” when she’s served about four and a half. She also said criticism is part of being a young Black woman in politics and insisted that negativity only fuels her drive: “Your hate is my motivation.”
