Someone has found footage of every single time Trump says he’ll do something ‘in two weeks’ and the results are baffling

The video shows clips from interviews with Donald Trump that date all the way back to 2017 and go up to the present. Someone went through a lot of old footage and found every time Trump said he would get something done “in two weeks.” The end result is both surprising and amusing.
It turns out Trump has a go-to phrase he uses when asked about when something will happen — and no, it’s not “fake news.” Whenever he’s pressed for a timeline, he tends to answer with: “within two weeks.” He’s said it so often, it’s become a bit of a running joke. Even his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has started using the phrase on his behalf.
Being the President of the United States means you’re constantly being asked tough questions, especially on big issues like the war between Ukraine and Russia or questions about Elon Musk leaving his advisory role. But no matter the topic, when someone asks Trump when a decision will be made, he often replies with his trademark “in two weeks.”
One of the recent examples was when Leavitt read a statement from Trump during a press conference. The topic was whether the U.S. would get involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran. She said that Trump would decide “within the next two weeks,” depending on whether talks with Iran were likely to happen or not.
This particular moment was added to a viral video that strings together dozens of times Trump has used that same “two weeks” promise. It’s a short clip, but it clearly shows that this isn’t just a one-time thing — he’s been saying it for years.
People on social media had plenty to say about the video. Some criticized him for constantly changing his stance, calling him unreliable. Others pointed out how often he makes vague promises with no clear follow-through. One person suggested that the “two-week” claim is just a trick: it sounds soon enough to seem real but far enough away that people forget it. According to them, that’s a tactic scammers often use.
This viral video surfaced around the same time as a new poll about Trump’s performance as president. In a Fox News poll, 46% of people said they approve of how he handles immigration, while 53% disapprove. On foreign policy, only 43% approved, while 57% said they didn’t like how he’s handled international issues.
So while Trump continues to say he’ll do things “within two weeks,” more and more people are starting to question whether that timeline actually means anything at all.
