Donald Trump has once again become the center of online mockery after making false claims about Joe Biden during a recent speech. Speaking before 6,000 U.S. Navy troops aboard an aircraft carrier off the coast of Japan, the 79-year-old President tried to attack Biden’s credibility but ended up embarrassing himself instead.
During his speech, Trump said, “Biden used to say he was a pilot. He was a pilot, he was a truck driver, whatever, whoever walked in. He wasn’t a pilot. He wasn’t much of a president either, to be honest with you. That I can tell you. That we all know.”

Users across X and Threads pointed out that Joe Biden has never claimed to be a pilot. One person wrote, “Biden never said he was a pilot. I think it was George W. Bush.” Another added, “Both Bushes were pilots — has Trump got them mixed up?”
CNN also verified the facts, confirming that while Biden once exaggerated about being a truck driver, there’s no record of him ever saying he was a pilot. Newsweek and other outlets backed this up, making it clear Trump’s statement was false.
One X user even asked Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, to check Trump’s claim. Grok replied, “No, Joe Biden has never claimed to be a pilot. Fact-checks from multiple sources, including CNN and Newsweek, find no record of such a statement despite his history of gaffes. Trump likely misspoke, confusing it with Biden’s false truck-driving claim or Bush’s actual piloting service.”
As the video spread online, reactions grew increasingly harsh. On Threads, one user called Trump “Dementia Don,” referencing the growing rumors about his declining mental sharpness. Another wrote, “Trump shames himself daily,” while someone else commented, “Oh my God. This is embarrassing… God help us. What is he even talking about?”
Others accused Trump of being obsessed with tearing down his political rivals. One commenter said, “More pitiful attacks on popular presidents that Trump does to try and inflate his fragile ego. What a little man he is.”
