Trump’s son makes major hint to their family’s future following his dad’s second term as president

Eric Trump says that his father’s decision to run for president completely changed their family’s life and not in a good way. According to him, it’s cost them a huge amount of money and brought a lot of pressure. He believes their family would have been much richer if Donald Trump had just stuck to business instead of going into politics.

Donald Trump, now in his second term as president, built up a strong following during his time in office. Before entering politics in 2015, he mostly focused on running the Trump Organization, a family business that started in the 1920s. But once he launched his campaign, everything changed for the Trump family.

Eric, who is Donald Trump’s second son, was asked if he plans to run for president in the future. His answer was cautious. He said the real question is whether he wants his children to go through what he has experienced over the past ten years. If he thought that would be okay, then entering politics would be a clear path for him or even for other family members. He didn’t say no—but he also didn’t say yes.

When pushed again about whether the Trump name will disappear from presidential ballots after the 2024 election, Eric said he doesn’t know. He hinted that there could be other Trumps interested in continuing the political legacy, but no one has made a final decision yet.

He spoke openly about the personal toll of politics, suggesting that it’s been extremely hard on the whole family. Although his father is now one of the most famous people in the world, Eric made it clear that this fame hasn’t been easy or necessarily rewarding. He also said that, despite what critics might believe, the Trump family hasn’t made money from politics—in fact, quite the opposite. He claimed they’ve faced massive legal bills and lost out on many business opportunities since Donald Trump entered the White House.

Eric, who has two children with his wife Lara, said he’s not sure if he wants to put his own kids through that kind of life. He’s still trying to figure that out.
