White House Gives ‘The View’ Chilling Warning After Joy Behar Claims Trump is ‘Jealous’ Of Obama

The White House released a strong statement on the same day Joy Behar, a host on The View, mocked former President Donald Trump by comparing him to former President Barack Obama.

She said Obama is everything Trump is not  fit, intelligent, good-looking, happily married, and even able to sing well. She also added that Trump can’t handle that comparison, and it drives him crazy.

Behar made these comments during a conversation about Trump’s accusation that Obama tried to stage a “coup” against him back in 2016 a claim Obama dismissed as ridiculous. Behar responded by bringing up the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, when Trump supporters tried to stop the certification of the 2020 election results.

After Entertainment Weekly contacted the White House for a response to Behar’s remarks, the White House sent back a harsh and threatening email. They insulted Behar, calling her irrelevant and saying she had “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” They also accused her show of having very low ratings and claimed she was jealous of Trump’s popularity. The statement hinted that her show might be next to get canceled.

This warning came just days after CBS announced that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert would be ending in 2026. The network said it wasn’t going to replace Colbert and that the decision was made because fewer people are watching late-night shows these days.

Interestingly, this announcement came shortly after Colbert criticized CBS’s parent company, Paramount, for settling a lawsuit with Trump. The lawsuit was over a routine editing decision on a 60 Minutes segment, and Paramount agreed to pay $16 million to settle it.

That decision raised eyebrows, especially because Paramount is in the middle of a massive merger with Skydance Media. The merger needs approval from the FCC  and its chairman, Brendan Carr, was appointed by Trump.

Carr later mocked the public’s reaction to Colbert’s cancellation on social media, saying that people on the left were acting like they lost a loyal Democratic Party spokesperson who thought he was above economic realities.
