Podcaster Joe Rogan has shared a new theory about the recent violence and investigations involving ICE agents in Minnesota, and he believes it may be connected to the still-unreleased files linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
On the January 22 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan spoke with comedian Ehsan Ahmad about the growing number of stories coming out of Minnesota involving ICE. Rogan suggested that the intense focus on these incidents could be distracting the public from a much bigger issue the Epstein files, which were supposed to be fully released last month but are still largely hidden from view.
Rogan said he believes the situation is being dragged out on purpose. He questioned what the government really released, pointing out that officials claimed the files were made public, yet much of the information is still missing, delayed, or heavily censored.
Ehsan agreed and said that attention on Trump’s alleged ties to Epstein has almost disappeared because of everything happening in Minnesota. He mentioned that the tragic shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent, along with tensions involving the Somali community, has completely taken over the news cycle. According to him, these stories have pushed the Epstein issue into the background. Rogan agreed and said he believes that shift is intentional, something Ehsan strongly backed.
The Epstein controversy has followed Donald Trump throughout his second term. Trump had earlier tried to block the release of the files, then later claimed he supported releasing them. Even so, thousands of documents remain unreleased, and many of the files that are public are filled with blacked-out names, photos, and details, leaving the public with more questions than answers.
At the same time, Trump has been facing criticism on multiple other fronts. His repeated comments about wanting control over Greenland have angered European leaders and caused strain with NATO allies. Despite strong opposition, Trump has continued to push the idea, increasing diplomatic tension.
Trump has also escalated international conflicts, including a recent operation in Venezuela that led to the capture of President Nicolás Maduro. Critics say this aggressive move may have made Trump more confident in making bold demands on the world stage, including his continued pressure over Greenland.
With so many political crises happening at once, the Epstein files have quietly slipped out of public focus. Rogan believes this is not accidental, but a calculated move by the administration to keep attention elsewhere while avoiding deeper scrutiny.
Trump has also shown renewed frustration over the Nobel Peace Prize. In a recent message to Norway’s prime minister, Jonas Gahr Støre, Trump complained that he did not receive the prize despite claiming he helped stop eight wars. He went on to suggest that because of this, he no longer felt bound to think only about peace. Critics quickly pointed out that the Norwegian government does not decide Nobel winners, as the prize is awarded by an independent committee a fact Trump appeared to ignore.
With rising tensions abroad, growing unrest at home, and constant new controversies, the chances of seeing the full Epstein files released anytime soon appear slim. As Rogan suggested, new crises keep replacing old ones, and the truth may remain buried as long as public attention continues to shift elsewhere.
