‘I Guarantee You’: Adam Kinzinger Makes A Big Prediction About Donald Trump And His Supporters

Former Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger made a bold prediction on Monday about how history may eventually judge President Donald Trump and the people who supported him.
Speaking during an interview with Nicolle Wallace on MS NOW, Kinzinger said he believes the country is heading toward a moment where many former Trump supporters will begin distancing themselves from the president and his actions.
Kinzinger argued that Trump’s popularity problems are becoming harder to ignore, saying the president appears to be losing more public support as time goes on. According to him, the current situation is only going to get worse in the coming years.
“I guarantee you something,” Kinzinger said during the interview. “In five or ten years, there won’t be many people openly admitting they supported Donald Trump anymore, except maybe a few very loud voices online.”
The former Illinois congressman, who became one of the Republican Party’s strongest critics of Trump after the 2020 election, said he believes the president’s behavior has continued to become more unpredictable during his second term in office.
Before Kinzinger joined the program, Wallace played clips showing Trump making comments at a Florida event where he claimed he was “much younger” than members of the audience. She also referenced several unusual social media posts shared by the president, including an AI-generated image showing him shirtless in a swimsuit relaxing with Cabinet members near the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
On that same day, Trump also shared other strange images online, including one featuring first lady Melania Trump smiling during a late-night press briefing, along with another image showing him holding several Uno “wild” cards.
Kinzinger suggested that moments like these are beginning to wear people out politically and emotionally.
“Eventually, people are going to reach a point where they say, ‘Enough is enough,’” he said while discussing what he described as the president’s continued downward spiral.
Kinzinger also reflected on his role as one of the only two Republicans who served on the House committee that investigated the Jan. 6 Capitol attack in 2021. He said that although he sometimes feels justified because of the warnings he and others gave years ago, he is still saddened by how divided the country remains.
He expressed concern that some media audiences are constantly being told that everything surrounding Trump is completely normal and successful, even while the country faces growing political tension, international instability, and rising public frustration over foreign policy decisions and economic uncertainty.
Kinzinger said he believes many Americans are becoming exhausted by the constant drama and chaos surrounding the president, and he warned that history may ultimately look back on this period very differently from how some supporters see it today.
