Katie Price Makes Emotional Confession About Her Past That Could Change How Her Children See Her

Katie Price has opened up about one of the most difficult parts of her life, admitting that she does not believe she was always the mother her children, Princess and Junior, deserved while they were growing up. The television personality made the emotional confession as she spoke about her new Sky documentary, Nothing to Hide, which takes an honest look at her life, career, personal struggles, and the challenges she has faced over the years.

Katie, who shares Princess, 19, and Junior, 20, with her former husband Peter Andre, said she hopes the documentary will help her children better understand the experiences that shaped her life. She revealed that neither Princess nor Junior has watched the documentary yet, but she plans to let them see it when they are ready.

Speaking about their reaction, Katie recalled Junior jokingly asking whether there would be anything in the documentary that might embarrass him. She reassured him that there would not be and said she hopes both of her children will enjoy watching it. More importantly, she hopes it will help them understand why certain things happened in their childhood and why she sometimes struggled to be the mother they wanted her to be.

Katie admitted that her mental health challenges had a major impact on her family life. She explained that while her children knew she had suffered a breakdown, the documentary provides a much deeper picture of everything she was going through behind the scenes. She believes it may finally answer questions they have had for years about her behaviour and some of the difficult moments they experienced together.

Looking back with regret, Katie acknowledged that she has hurt people during different stages of her life, although she insists it was never her intention. She offered a heartfelt apology to anyone affected by her actions and admitted she wishes she could have handled some situations differently. She hopes her children will see that many of her mistakes came from pain and unresolved trauma rather than a lack of love for them.

Katie also spoke openly about the emotional scars she says she has carried since she was young. She explained that difficult experiences with men left her with deep emotional wounds that have influenced many of her relationships throughout adulthood. According to Katie, those painful experiences changed the way she approaches relationships today, making her much more guarded and cautious than she once was.

She said she has no problem discussing these difficult subjects with Princess and Junior because she wants them to understand who she is today and why she has made certain decisions in her life. She believes being honest with them is the best way to help them make sense of her past and the struggles she has faced over the years.

Despite reflecting on painful memories, Katie also spoke proudly about her children’s achievements. She revealed that she has recently been filming alongside Princess for her daughter’s own television project and enjoys watching her confidence grow in front of the cameras. Katie said that Princess and Junior have very different personalities whenever she is around, something she finds amusing.

Katie could not hide her pride as she praised Princess, describing her as even more beautiful than she was at the same age. She admitted she often encourages her daughter to be more confident and show more personality during public appearances, especially on the red carpet. In Katie’s view, standing out and being yourself is far more important than trying to appear perfect.

She believes many celebrities today are too careful about how they present themselves and encourages Princess to embrace her individuality instead. She said seeing both Princess and Junior finding their own paths makes her proud, and she hopes they continue to succeed while learning from both her achievements and her mistakes.
