Putin Crony Sends a Chilling Warning to Prince William  And It’s Absolutely Heartbreaking”

A top Russian official close to President Putin has made a serious threat against Prince William after he was seen riding in a British tank near the Russian border.

Dmitry Rogozin, who runs a Russian military drone unit and used to be the head of Russia’s space agency, said online that Prince William would be a good target for his drone team. He posted a photo of the prince in the tank and wrote, *“We haven’t taken out the heir to the throne yet… but if we see him, we won’t hold back.”*

Prince William was in Estonia for two days to visit British troops and show support for NATO forces in the region. While there, he rode in a Challenger 2 tank during military exercises.

Rogozin, who also serves as a Kremlin-appointed official in Russian-occupied Ukraine, has been pushing for more soldiers, saying the war is far from over. He once got injured during the war when a Ukrainian shell hit him at his birthday party.

Other Russian figures also mocked William’s visit. One war blogger joked that William would be *“missed in a burning tank.”* A Russian political commentator said the visit was a clear message from the UK to Russia.

Another analyst mocked William’s support for Estonia, sarcastically suggesting the UK should move Estonia to a “safer” place like Wales or Ireland — then warned Britain itself is within missile range of Russia.

One Russian TV military expert complained that the prince’s visit showed British tanks and soldiers are already on former Soviet territory. Estonia used to be part of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, and many in Russia still see it as within their sphere of influence.

A Russian war channel mocked the UK’s Challenger 2 tank, calling it expensive, not very mobile, and easy to set on fire — based on its performance in the Ukraine war.

Some Russians also responded angrily to comments from a former British Navy commander, Chris Parry, who said one British submarine could destroy 40 Russian cities in one strike. In reply, Russian sources said that if the UK attacks, Russia would respond with its own powerful missiles — including the massive Sarmat (also called Satan-2), which can carry nuclear warheads and strike targets like London or UK military bases.

They said even the British Prime Minister’s residence at 10 Downing Street would be one of the first places hit.

Prince William’s visit was part of *Operation Cabrit*, which is the UK’s military effort to help NATO defend eastern Europe. Right now, about 900 British troops are stationed in Estonia — the UK’s biggest overseas military presence.

While in Estonia, William met with soldiers, toured the base, and took part in a ceremony to show support and strengthen NATO’s presence near Russia.
