Donald Trump Makes Extreme Claim About Pam Bondi

President Donald Trump praised Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday, calling her “the greatest attorney general” and saying she would go down in history for her work.

He made the remarks in Washington, D.C., while meeting with law enforcement and National Guard troops during his federal control of the district.

Trump, known for using grand and often exaggerated language about himself and others close to him, said Bondi’s performance was exceptional and that people would soon recognize her as the best attorney general the country has ever had.

Trump has a history of using such high praise, often comparing himself to figures like Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Martin Luther King Jr., and referring to his own presidency as the greatest. So, his comments about Bondi fit a familiar pattern of over-the-top approval for his allies.

However, Bondi has been facing growing criticism. She recently made claims that many Washington, D.C., residents were quietly thanking federal law enforcement for their presence, even though violent crime in the city reportedly dropped by 27% last year, and many locals have openly protested the federal intervention. Critics argue that her statements exaggerate the reality of the situation.

Bondi has also faced bipartisan backlash over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. After initially promoting the documents to Trump’s supporters, she and the administration have been accused of downplaying their significance, leading to criticism from both conservatives and liberals who feel the sudden change in tone is misleading and politically motivated.
