These sick insults make Trump’s illness clear

While many people were sitting with their families enjoying Thanksgiving dinner, Donald Trump was online posting a long stream of insults and threats on Truth Social. His words were so extreme that if any other president had said them, people would have immediately demanded the 25th Amendment. This was Trump behaving at his absolute worst, which says a lot considering his history.

He went after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and called him “seriously retarded,” a word that most people consider offensive and outdated.

Then, without any reason, he attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. He insulted her for being born in Somalia, mocked her for wearing a hijab, and described her home country as “decadent, backward, and crime ridden.” These were not policy statements — they were personal attacks meant to hurt.

After that, the president of the United States announced that he wanted to “permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries.” He also demanded something he called “REVERSE MIGRATION,” which basically means forcing millions of people out of the country.

This wasn’t a rumor. He said it clearly and publicly.

Strangely, it barely made news. People seemed numb to it, as though shocking behavior from Trump was now normal. That’s its own problem — the country has gotten used to things it should never accept.

He ended his message with, “HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL, except those that hate, steal, murder, and destroy everything that America stands for.”

His staff at the White House even praised the message, calling it “one of the most important messages ever released by President Trump.” Many found that unbelievable.

Trump also delivered more harsh messages in person. When CBS reporter Nancy Cordes asked him why he blamed the Biden administration for the Afghan shooter, even though Trump’s own Justice Department Inspector General had confirmed the refugee vetting process was thorough, Trump exploded at her.

He said, “Are you stupid? Are you a stupid person? Because they came in on a plane along with thousands of other people that shouldn’t be here, and you’re just asking questions because you’re a stupid person.”

This wasn’t unusual for him. He has recently insulted female reporters often — calling one “piggy” and another “ugly.” But this time, he didn’t add his usual physical insults, maybe because he was too focused on yelling.

What was even more shocking was that none of the journalists standing there said anything. No one challenged him. No one defended their colleague. They just stood there quietly while the president insulted a reporter in front of them.

This shows a bigger problem. Trump’s behavior is one issue, but everyone else quietly accepting it becomes another part of the story.

People have collected many examples of Trump saying strange, confusing things — comparing things to Hannibal Lecter, talking about “windmill cancer,” rambling about sharks and electricity, or mentioning toilets flushing 10 or 15 times. Most Americans just shrug it off now, as if it’s normal for a president to talk like that.

But medical experts say his recent behavior isn’t just about being rude or unusual. They see signs that look like certain types of dementia, especially Frontotemporal Dementia, which affects how a person controls their impulses and filters their speech. It causes people to say things without thinking and behave in socially inappropriate ways.

If true, this is much deeper than just being mean. It means he may be seriously ill.

The country is now dealing with a situation no one has ever seen before — a president who behaves like this on a daily basis. Interestingly, though, Republican lawmakers created a blueprint for how to handle a president with mental decline. They created it while attacking Joe Biden during his presidency.

Republicans repeatedly said that if a president shows signs of cognitive decline, he must resign immediately for the sake of national security. They said such behavior endangered the country. They wrote letters. They made speeches. They claimed the country was facing a constitutional crisis because of Biden’s mind.

But now, Trump is 79 — older than Biden was during all of those attacks — and displays exactly the behaviors they once described as unacceptable: confusion, strange statements, memory slips, and moments where he rambles without making sense.

The difference is that Biden never had the cruelty or the aggression that Trump shows regularly. Biden never bullied people or lashed out in ways that scared entire communities. Trump has lost filters, and that lack of control can cause real harm.

So now the United States is facing the reality those Republicans warned about, except it involves their own leader.

For once, they have already provided the solution themselves. Their past statements show exactly what should be done when a president behaves like this: he should step down.
