MAGA Goes After Jasmine Crockett By Dredging Up Clip of Her Calling Rep. Byron Donalds ‘Whitewashed’ Because He ‘Married a White Woman’

Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is in hot water again after some old comments she made came back to haunt her. A clip from last year’s interview on The Breakfast Club started making the rounds where she took shots at fellow Congressman Byron Donalds, a Black Republican from Florida who supports Trump.

In the interview, Crockett really went after Donalds, suggesting that marrying a white woman had somehow changed him. She said stuff like “you think that whitewashed you?” and even mocked him by imitating what she thinks he sounds like taking orders from white Republicans – saying things like “Yes, massa, I got it.” She also had this line about Black conservatives being “skinfolk who definitely are not our kinfolk,” which got a lot of people talking.

This all comes at the same time Crockett’s getting slammed for another comment she recently made about Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair. At some event, she jokingly called him “Governor Hot Wheels,” and let’s just say not everyone thought that was funny.

Crockett’s known for speaking her mind and not holding back, which has made her both popular with some Democrats and a favorite target for Republicans. After these latest controversies, she kind of joked about it herself, telling a crowd “Y’all pray for me because who knows what I’m going to end up saying.”

The thing is, Crockett’s become one of those politicians who’s always in the middle of some drama. Some people love that she says whatever she’s thinking, while others think she goes too far. In that old interview, she was really going at Donalds about some comments he made suggesting life was better under Jim Crow laws, questioning if he even understood history or if his marriage changed how he sees things.

Now that these comments are circulating again, it’s stirring up all kinds of reactions. Conservatives are having a field day with it, while some Democrats are probably wishing she’d tone it down a little. But knowing Crockett, she’s not likely to start filtering herself anytime soon. She’s become one of the most outspoken voices in her party, for better or worse, and it looks like she’s going to keep making headlines one way or another.
