Russia sends chilling WW3 warning that it could obliterate Britain

One of Vladimir Putin’s biggest supporters on Russian television has made a frightening threat against Britain, claiming that Russia has enough military power to destroy the country right now.

Margarita Simonyan, the head of Russia’s state-controlled television network RT, made the shocking comments during a television programme with Russian presenter Vladimir Solovyov, who is also known for strongly supporting Putin and his government.

During the programme, Simonyan spoke about reports that European countries are preparing their military forces for a possible war with Russia before 2030.

She laughed at the idea that European countries needed several more years to prepare for a possible conflict. According to her, Russia is already powerful enough to cause serious destruction to Britain without waiting until 2030.

She claimed that European leaders were warning their citizens about a major war but were too frightened to mention Russia directly.

Simonyan then turned her attention to Britain and made an even more worrying statement.

“I have bad news for you, the British. We can rip you to shreds even now,” she declared during the broadcast.

She continued by mocking Britain’s size, describing the country as a small island that Russia could easily destroy.

According to her, the Russian military has the ability to cause so much damage that Britain could be completely wiped off the map.

“No one will ever remember this island because it’s a small island,” she claimed.

She added that although Russian military commanders would know exactly how such an attack could happen, she believed it would not be difficult for Moscow to leave nothing behind.

Her comments were made as tensions between Russia and Western countries continue over the war in Ukraine and Europe’s military preparations.

During the same television discussion, Solovyov also made strong statements about Europe’s future.

He claimed that European countries had already lost control of their future and suggested that Russian soldiers would eventually decide what happened across the continent.

These statements were presented as the opinions of the Russian television personalities, rather than official announcements of military action by the Russian government.

Simonyan did not stop with Britain. She also spoke about Ukraine and predicted that the country’s current government would eventually collapse.

She specifically mentioned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, suggesting that his leadership would not survive the ongoing conflict with Russia.

To explain her prediction, she referred to Russia’s past military operations in Chechnya during the 1990s.

She claimed that just as Moscow eventually brought the breakaway region under its control, the Ukrainian government could also be removed from power.

Simonyan mocked Zelensky during the discussion and suggested that his position as president could eventually be abolished.

However, these were her predictions, and she provided no evidence that such an outcome was certain.

In another part of the programme, Simonyan claimed that people living in Western countries were secretly jealous of Russians because of the strong support she said Russian citizens had for Vladimir Putin.

She argued that Russia had stronger leadership than many European countries and suggested that Western governments would struggle to maintain public support if a major conflict broke out.

According to her, European citizens could eventually become frustrated with their leaders and turn against their governments.

She also claimed that Western countries lacked the determination and unity that she believed existed in Russia.

The latest comments have added to a growing number of threats made against Britain and other European countries by pro-Kremlin television personalities.

Russian state television has repeatedly featured discussions about possible military confrontations with NATO countries, including Britain.

Some commentators have openly discussed Russia’s nuclear weapons and the destruction they could cause if a major war broke out.

However, threatening statements made by television presenters do not necessarily mean that the Russian government has decided to carry out such attacks.

Britain remains a member of NATO, the military alliance that includes the United States and several other European countries. Under NATO’s collective defence arrangements, an armed attack against one member could trigger a response from other members.

The UK also has its own nuclear weapons and military forces, meaning any direct conflict between Britain and Russia could have extremely serious consequences for both countries and the wider world.

For now, Simonyan’s comments remain threats made during a Russian television broadcast, rather than evidence of an imminent attack on Britain.

Nevertheless, her statements show how strongly some influential voices in Russia continue to speak against Britain and other Western countries that support Ukraine.

As European governments continue discussing military spending, national security and preparations for possible future threats, such statements are likely to add to concerns about the growing tensions between Russia and the West.
