Ambulances, Police Cars and Fire Engines Rush to Prison Where Russell Brand Is Being Held After a Sudden Emergency

Emergency services rushed to the prison where Russell Brand is being held after an incident sparked a major response from police, firefighters and ambulance crews.
Several emergency vehicles were seen arriving at HMP Wandsworth in South London, where the comedian and actor is currently serving time following his conviction for rape and sexual assault.
The sudden arrival of police cars, ambulances and fire engines raised questions about what had happened inside the prison.
According to reports, three ambulances and two ambulance response cars entered the prison grounds. Three fire engines also arrived at the scene, although they remained outside while several firefighters went into the building on foot.
The exact reason for the emergency response has not yet been confirmed. However, it is understood that the incident was not related to a fire.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade confirmed that firefighters were called to the prison at 9:46am and that their involvement ended at 10:20am.
The spokesperson said: “At 0946, Firefighters were called to HMP Wandsworth. The incident was over for crews by 1020.”
The presence of several emergency vehicles has attracted attention, particularly because Russell Brand is currently being held at the prison.
However, there is no confirmed information suggesting that the emergency was connected to Brand or that he was personally involved in the incident.
The Daily Express has contacted the Ministry of Justice, the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service to find out what happened.
