Woman who murdered her two children is kicked out of the courtroom after making mistake during trial

Lori Vallow, a woman already in prison for the murders of her two children, is now facing another serious trial. This time, she’s accused of helping to plan the attempted murder of her niece’s ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux. Even though she’s not a trained lawyer, Lori decided she wanted to represent herself in court instead of having a lawyer do it for her.

The trial is taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, and things quickly got tense. On Friday, June 6, Lori got into a heated argument with the judge, Justin Beresky. During the trial, Lori said she wanted a separate hearing so she could talk about her “good character.” She asked the judge if they could pause the trial to allow her to do that. She seemed to believe this would help her case by showing she is a good person.

The judge responded by saying they could have a short hearing if she really wanted one. But he also warned her that if she tried to show she had good character, the court would then allow the prosecution to bring up things that show the opposite. That would include the fact that she has already been found guilty of four murders. The judge was basically telling her that bringing up her character could backfire and make her look even worse.

Lori didn’t take this well. She told the judge that he was talking to her rudely and said she had been respectful. She insisted that she was being polite and didn’t deserve to be treated badly. The judge strongly disagreed and said she had not been respectful during the trial at all. Things got so out of control that the judge lost his patience and ordered court security to remove her from the courtroom. He firmly told the officers, “Take her out, take her out.”

After she was escorted out and the court took a 15-minute break, the judge came back and gave Lori a serious warning. He told her that if she kept interrupting, speaking over others, or asking questions she wasn’t supposed to, he might not allow her to represent herself anymore. If that happens, she would be forced to have a lawyer speak for her instead. The judge made it clear that he would not allow her to keep disrupting the court.

Lori is already serving life sentences for the murders of her two children—16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow. These murders happened back in 2003, and the case shocked the country. She was also found guilty of being involved in the death of Tammy Daybell, who was the first wife of Lori’s current husband, Chad Daybell. Now, in this new trial, she’s accused of plotting with her brother, Alex Cox, to kill Brandon Boudreaux.

According to prosecutors, Brandon was driving home in Gilbert, Arizona, on October 2, 2019, when someone shot at him from a Jeep. They believe Lori was behind that attack and may have even fired the gun herself. The bullet nearly hit Brandon in the head. Her brother Alex, who has since died, is also believed to have been involved in the plan.

This latest courtroom incident shows how unpredictable and chaotic Lori’s behavior can be. Even though she claims to be respectful, her actions continue to disrupt the legal process. The judge is clearly losing patience, and if she doesn’t follow the rules moving forward, she may lose the right to speak for herself in court. This trial adds yet another dark chapter to a story that has already been filled with tragedy, violence, and confusion.
