‘You See That?’: Black MAGA Supporter Humiliated After Trump Uses Her as a Prop, Then Cameras Lock In on What’s Sitting on Top of Her Head

Donald Trump has a long history of turning press briefings and public events into personal performances. He often finds a way to embarrass both his critics and the very people who support him. During these events, he regularly points out “beautiful” women in the crowd, brags about his “movie star” wife Melania Trump, or uses supporters standing behind him as visual proof that people love and admire him.
Many times, the room fills with laughter and it’s not always clear whether people are laughing with him or at him. He tries to present himself as friendly and relatable, but it can come across as forced. Sometimes he seems unable to tell who is truly cheering for him and who is not, at least until someone makes it obvious.
At a recent Black History Month ceremony at the White House, Trump once again made the moment about himself. He invited several successful Black business owners to attend and spoke at length about what he claims he has done for the Black community. He repeated his usual statements about helping historically Black colleges and universities and insisted that his policies have made a major difference.
During the event, he called a few of his Black friends by name and then invited Anetta Bradford to the stage. Bradford and her husband own Hebrews 11:1, a small coffee shop in Hope, Arkansas. Trump used the opportunity to praise a tax policy from his “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” specifically a provision about not taxing tips. He suggested that this policy helped Bradford grow her business quickly and hire more employees. He proudly described her coffee shop as “incredibly successful” and even joked that since she was “making a fortune,” she should share some of that money with others in the room.
When Bradford stepped up to the podium, she thanked God and said it was an honor to be there. She explained that Hebrews 11:1 is her favorite Bible verse and the reason she chose that name for her business. She spoke sincerely about her faith and her journey as a business owner.
However, much of the attention online quickly shifted away from her words and focused instead on her hairstyle. Social media users began criticizing her wig, making harsh and mocking comments about how it looked. People questioned the color, the style, and how it was placed on her head. Some went as far as joking that the money she earned should have been spent on fixing her hair instead. Others made mean remarks about whether they would trust someone whose wig looked “crooked.”
While Trump did not comment on Bradford’s appearance, he has previously made very public comments about women’s looks. For example, he once spoke enthusiastically about meeting rapper Nicki Minaj, praising her beauty, her skin, and even her nails in front of a crowd. He described her in glowing terms and seemed fascinated by her appearance.
Some observers wondered whether Bradford’s look was inspired by Minaj’s more recent style changes. In the past few months, Minaj has publicly expressed support for Trump and has adopted a more conservative public image, including lighter hair and fashion choices similar to other women associated with Trump’s political circle, such as Pam Bondi, Karoline Leavitt, and Erika Kirk.
In the end, what was meant to be a celebration of Black business owners turned into another moment centered on Trump’s self-praise and online criticism aimed at a supporter. Instead of focusing on Bradford’s achievements and faith, much of the public conversation became distracted by appearances and politics, leaving the event overshadowed by controversy and ridicule.
